At Intro, we take your privacy seriously. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our LinkedIn networking enhancement service at introsuite.com.
Intro ("we," "our," or "us") operates the website at introsuite.com and provides a Chrome browser extension that helps professionals enhance their LinkedIn networking experience. By using our services, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.
We implement industry-standard security measures including end-to-end encryption, secure storage, regular security audits, and strict access controls to protect your information. While we strive to protect your data, we commit to promptly addressing any security incidents.
When you connect your LinkedIn account, we collect your basic profile information (name, headline, profile picture), professional experience and education details, location and industry information, public LinkedIn profile URL, and connection counts when available.
"We are GDPR and CCPA compliant, ensuring your privacy rights are protected regardless of your location. EU users have additional rights including consent withdrawal and processing restrictions."
We also collect usage data including icebreaker generation requests, feature usage patterns, browser extension activity, and session information. When you save contacts using our mini-CRM feature, we store contact names, titles, company information, and any notes you add.
We use your information to generate personalized icebreaker messages based on LinkedIn profiles, provide networking insights and conversation starters, enable contact management and relationship tracking, and deliver browser extension functionality.
We also analyze usage patterns to enhance our algorithms, improve icebreaker quality and relevance, optimize user experience, and develop new features based on user needs. We may send important service updates, provide customer support, and share product updates.
For EU users, we process your data based on consent (LinkedIn data access), contract performance (networking services), and legitimate interests (service improvement and security). We work with trusted third-party providers including Google Analytics for website usage analytics, Resend for email delivery, and cloud infrastructure for secure hosting.
We retain your account data while your account is active, LinkedIn data is refreshed periodically with older versions automatically purged, usage analytics are retained for service improvement (anonymized after 24 months), and contact records until you delete them or close your account.
Account Deletion: When you delete your account, we immediately suppress all personal data. Some anonymized usage statistics may be retained for analytical purposes but cannot be linked back to you.
All users have the right to access, correct, delete, and export their personal data. EU users have additional GDPR rights including consent withdrawal, processing restrictions, objection to processing, and the right to file complaints with supervisory authorities.
California users have CCPA rights to know what information we collect, request deletion, and non-discrimination for exercising these rights. We don't sell personal information, so no opt-out is necessary.
We use essential cookies for authentication, session management, and security. We also use Google Analytics for website usage statistics. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies beyond what's necessary for service functionality.
Your information may be transferred internationally with appropriate safeguards including Standard Contractual Clauses and certified privacy frameworks. Our services are not intended for users under 16 years of age.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time and will notify you of material changes by email, website notice, or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
